Liakos M. Theodorou, Board Member, Invest Cyprus
Liakos M. Theodorou is a Board Member at Invest Cyprus and a PwC partner heading the Limassol market.He started his career with PwC in London in 1986 and returned to Cyprus in 1992. He has extensive experience in auditing and business advisory services with a client portfolio of local and international companies. He wasthe Assurance and Advisory Leader and a member of the Management Board of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Cyprus till 30 June 2019. He is currently the Vice President on Economic affairs of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a member of the Board of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce (KEBE).He was a member of Council the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus from 2013 to 2016.He has also served as one of the five members of the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competitionfrom 2003 to 2008. Liakos has an Honors degree in Economics from London School of Economics and heis a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He has attended a number of PwC and business school professional development programs and in 2005 he participated in the “Ulysses” leadership development program during which he has worked with the UN for two months in Kenya.

Nikos Christodoulides, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Cyprus
Nikos Christodoulides is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus. He holds a Bachelor of Artsin Political Science, Economics, and Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies from City University of New York,Queens College, with postgraduate studies in Political Science at New York University and Diplomatic Studies atthe University of Malta. He holds a doctorate from the Department of Political Science and Public Administrationof the University of Athens. He was a career diplomat between 1999 and 2013. During this time he served asDirector of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Spokesperson of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU in Brussels, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Cyprus in Greece, Director of the Office of thePermanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Consul General at the High Commission of theRepublic of Cyprus in the UK. Prior to his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, he served as Directorof the Diplomatic Office of the President of the Republic of Cyprus (2013- 2018) and Government Spokesman(2014-2018). He was a Lecturer and Research Associate at the Department of History and Archeology of theUniversity of Cyprus between 2007 and 2010. He is the author of two books, Plans for Solution of the CyprusProblem 1948-1978 (2009) and Relations between Athens and Nicosia and the yprus Problem, 1977-1988(2013). He has also published extensively in domestic and international journals.

H.E. Judith G. Garber, Ambassador of the United States of America to Cyprus
Her Excellency Ms Judith G. Garber is Ambassador of the United States of America to Cyprus. Prior to herappointment as U.S. Ambassador to Cyprus, Judith Garber served as the Acting Assistant Secretary and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs. In that capacity she led U.S. diplomacy on oceans, climate, space, health, wildlife trafficking, andfisheries, among other issues. A career Foreign Service Officer with the rank of Career Minister, she joinedthe Foreign Service in 1984. Her previous diplomatic assignments have included Ambassador to Latvia from2009-2012, Deputy Assistant Secretary for North and Central Europe, Director for Overseas DevelopmentFinance as well as postings in Spain, the Czech Republic, Israel and Mexico. Prior to joining the ForeignService, the Ambassador worked at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Treasury.

Constantinos Petrides, Minister of Finance, Republic of Cyprus
Constantinos Petrides assumed office as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus on 3rd of December2019. Prior to his appointment, he served as Minister of Interior (1 May 2017 - 3 December 2019) and Deputy Minister to the President of the Republic of Cyprus since (1st March 2013 – 30 April 2017). From September 2011 to February 2013 was the Director of the Office of the President of the Democratic Rally. In 2006 he was hired at the European Commission in Brussels where he worked as an economist at the Directorate General forAgriculture and the Directorate General for Competition until September 2011. During his stay at the European Commission he served as negotiator of trade liberalization agreements between the EU and third countries and also worked on issues of public aid in the field of transportations. From 2000 until 2006 he served as SeniorOfficer at the Association of Cyprus Banks and as representative of the Association to the European BankingFederation and the National Euro Changeover Committee. During the negotiations for Cyprus’ accession to theEU in 2000 he worked on issues of harmonization at the Directorate for EU-Cyprus relations of the Planning Bureau. He studied Economics at the University of Nottingham and then acquired an MSc in Political Economy of Transition in Europe from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.

George Campanellas, CEO, Invest Cyprus
George Campanellas is the Chief Executive Officer of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Cyprus) and the Vice President of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He has nearly twenty years of professional experience in Cyprus and abroad, working with the DG Competition in Brussels and directly with the Cypriot Ministers of Health and Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism. George has been actively involved in the development of the oil & gas sector in the Cyprus Exclusive Economic Zone, dealing with licensing, exploration and exploitation activities, as well as promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation at a regional level. Throughout his career, he also had an active role in drafting the regulatory framework and running the relevant licensing procedures for attracting Foreign Direct Investment in sectors of strategic importance and large-scale infrastructure projects, such as the LNG terminal at Vasilikos Energy Center, Cyprus Techno Park, EuroAsia Interconnector and the City of Dreams Mediterranean, Europe’s largest integrated casino resort and Cyprus’ largest FDI project.

George Ioannou, Partner, Chrysostomides
George Ioannou graduated with an LLB in Law from University College London and received a BSc in Politic sand International Relations from the London School of Economics. He also qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant. He is now Partner in the Corporate and Commercial department at Chrysostomides, with a total of 18 years of professional experience. George has significant experience in transactions support and is highlyspecialised in the provision of international tax planning, wealth planning for high net worth individuals, crossborder mergers, mergers of Cyprus companies, transfers of corporate seat, preparation of legal capacityopinions and due diligence reports. In 2020 George was recommended among the leading lawyers for Tax in international law firm directories, Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 EMEA, respectively.

Petros P. Krasaris, Partner, Head of International Tax and Transaction Services, EY Cyprus
Petros Krasaris is a Partner at EY Cyprus and heads the International Tax and Transfer Pricing Services. He joined EY Cyprus in 2001 and also worked in EY New York as the Cyprus and Malta Foreign Tax Desk. His main area of practice are international tax, transaction tax, transfer pricing, tax transparency and MDR/DAC6 advisory services. Petros has extensive experience in international tax planning advising US and European clients on setting-up Cyprus structures, improving tax efficiency of multinational operations, advising on earnings repatriation strategies, and other areas. Petros is a member of the Tax Policy Committee of the local institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and CFA Charter-holder.

Andreas Andronicou, Tax Director - Fund Services, PwC Cyprus
Andreas Andronicou is a Director at PwC specialising on taxation in the Financial Services and in the Funds industries. He has extensive experience advising international clients for 15 years on a number of M&A, cross border transactions and restructurings. Andreas has a diverse portfolio of clients mainly in the financial, technology and real estate sectors. Between 2011 and 2013, Andreas was on an assignment to PwC London where he was providing support on both Cyprus and UK angle on a number of UK and US transactions. Andreas is an Associate Member of the ICAEW and has graduated from the London School of Economics with a First Class BSc and an MSc in Economics.

Marina Kasapi, Principal, Tax & Legal Department, KPMG Cyprus
Marina Kasapi graduated with a BS (Hons) in Economics from the University of Tampa, USA. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. Marina joined KPMG’s tax network in 2008. She was previously employed by another big four firm and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of taxation. Her areas of expertise include international corporate tax advisory and local tax compliance. She has participated in numerous mergers, acquisition andcorporate restructuring operations and was actively involved in a number of global outsourcing projects, taxdue diligence projects, tax reorganizations, tax audits and tax reviews. She regularly holds tax presentationsand participates as guest speaker for Cyprus on KPMG’s International Tax Advanced courses. She is also amember of KPMG’s Global Think Tank, which aims at developing tax strategies for EU multinationals.

Charalambos Meivatzis, Partner, Head of Tax, Accounting and VAT, Kinanis LLC
Charalambos Meivatzis is a Partner and the Head of the Tax, Accounting and VAT services of Kinanis LLC. He is a qualified lawyer member of the Cyprus Bar Association and a qualified Chartered Accountant member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) as well as a member of the Cyprus Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). With more than 15 years of experience, he acted as tax advisor and performed financial and tax due diligence, in numerus M&A deals as well as banking and financing transactions addressing all issues with a holistic approach by combining his legal and accounting backgrounds. He also assisted a number multinational organisations in setting up and relocating their regional Headquarters in Cyprus.

Andreas Yiasemides, President, Cyprus Investment Funds Association
Andreas Yiasemides is the President of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) and a Partner at PwC Cyprus, in charge of the Fund Services of the organisation. On his graduation from the University of Manchester with a first class degree in Economics, he joined PwC in 1999 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA). He continued his career with the Bank of Cyprus, holding various positions including heading the Custody and Trusts Unit. He then moved on to an organisation of professional services where he set up and led the Fund Services Unit. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Cyprus and of the Central Bank of Cyprus as well as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He is also Vice Chairman  of the Cyprus National Advisory Council of Charter Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). Andreas Yiasemides has also been elected as the President of the Cyprus India Business Association.

Panikos Teklos, Partner, Risk Advisory & Wealth Advisory Services Leader, Deloitte
Panikos Teklos is the Investment Management, Regulatory Risk and Wealth Advisory Services Leader of Deloitte in Cyprus and a Partner in the Risk Advisory department. He is also Managing Director of Deloitte Investment Services Ltd. He has more than 19 years of international experience in Investment Banking, Strategy, Consulting, Risk Advisory, Asset and Wealth Management. He is a specialist in structured products and complex derivatives, structured finance, funding strategies (including Public Debt Management) and structured solutions for Financial Institutions and Corporates and an expert in multi-jurisdictional investment fund and asset management company advisory.

George Karatzias, Senior Manager, Alter Domus
George Karatzias is a senior manager and is heading the fund services side of Alter Domus (Cyprus) Limited. George is a member of the Board of Directors at CIFA and serves as the vice-chairman of the Fund administrators committee. He is also a member of the Funds committee of the ICPAC. He specialises in the fund administration of private equity, real estate and debt funds primarily as well as any ancillary services required by investment structures in the middle-back office space. He is a Fellow member of ACCA and holds a Master in Marketing and Financial Services from the University of Exeter, he has received a number of academic awards during his student years.

Stephanie Panayi, Investment Promotion Officer, TourInvest Unit, Invest Cyprus
Stephanie Panayi is an Investment Promotion Officer, leading the TourInvest Unit. She joined Invest Cyprus in 2019. She is experienced in the field of foreign direct investment, investor relationsmanagement, business development and investment promotion. Her role is focused on identifyingand promoting investment opportunities available in Cyprus and ensuring the channeling ofinformation to existing or potential investors, through coordination and implementation of strategiesto attract businesses and investments into Cyprus. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’ s Degree in AppliedForeign Languages and a Master’ s Degree in MSc International Management & Business. Stephanieis also the Young BPW Cyprus Representative of the Cyprus Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW). She is fluent in Greek, English and French and conversant in Russian.
